79 Volvo 262C Bertone and it's in excellent condition with very low mileage. It has a brand new custom original color paint job with the entire interior redone with new stuffing in the seats and leather interior with new carpet and the seats are heated with the original rims that have been powder coated in silver. New weather stripping the entire car. Chrome Molding Trim is in grade A condition and is needed to be installed with the original clips. New leather top. New low and wide profile tires that do not restrict the turning radius nor touches. It's a very fast and clean car that has been completely taken care of until I listed it on CL and the gentleman was very interested in the car and I was showing off the motor and I went inside to grab the keys to start it up. He had tried closing the hood from the corner of the hood and he caused the hood to buckle up a tiny bit but he was able to see what he had done and raised the hood again and I was not aware of the damage he caused but should have known by the way he had got out of there soon after I started it and he said he had got a call and would be coming back to purchase it. I didn't realize it was damaged until he was long gone and he wouldn't answer his phone and finally disconnected it. Ive been told that it's not going to be difficult or expensive to fix it. But I have recently lost my mother and bought her home that I Restored before becoming her Caregiver. I know that less than 2000 were made and they are truly a beautiful, great AUTOMOBILE for everyone to see and be honked at and stopped at intersections by the few people who are truly aware of what they are looking at and want to know how much. But that was before the restoration to the best of my ability. I'd say that it's 90+% finished if not 95% but it does need a little bit of work to finish the car but it's not something that I am wanting to sell. But it is listed between 10k and 20k. Depending upon the restoration. I have a lot of love for this car and it's the 3rd car that I have Restored but the only one that isn't 100% finished as ive always intended for it to be but it is not a single major issue and it will take a few weeks to finish the entire job. I'm really looking for a individual with whom is truly going to get it completed and love to drive it around and show the world what a beautiful and very rare COLLECTORS car that it truly is. It even has the original tape deck and speakers. It's truly a beautiful rare, collector's car that is obviously only going to continue to grow in VALUE with every passing YEAR. I just want it to go to a good home and to be treated with the same respect that has caused it to be in such prime condition after 41 years.
