We have every reason to believe the 53k miles are original along with the original interior that is essentially untouched certainly suggests that the miles are original and correct. This car has had one professional repaint and replacement Polyglas Wide-Ovals. Verifying with the build sheet and window sticker, this SS was Built in Framingham Massachusetts and sold new at The Russell Chevrolet Company in Fairfield, Connecticut on May 28th, 1969. 52-52 Garnet Red over Black Vinyl, Strato Black Bucket Seats, Black Vinyl Roof, Center Console, Posi traction 3:55 rear end, L78 396/375 HP V8, M21 Muncie 4- speed transmission, Am Pushbutton Radio, Auxiliary Lighting, SS 396 equipment package including Domed Hood, Black Accent Grill, Disc Brakes, Sport Wheels, Wide Oval Polyglas tires, Wheel Opening Moldings, Bright Engine Accents and Hide-A-Way Wipers. The car is fitted with Hooker Super Competition ceramic coated headers and dual 3'' exhaust but the original exhaust manifolds are included. We also have the original ownerƒ_Ts manual and a very nicely done display board. We have confirmed the casting dates and factory stamping on the engine block, transmission, rear axle, intake manifold, Holley carburetor and distributor all correctly match the Protect-O-Plate and are dated to match the build sheets and build date of the car itself. This is the most original and correct SS Chevelle we have had in our inventory. The car is straight, the paint is very nice, the interior, chrome, engine compartment and underside are as they appear in the photos. It is a car that is tight and drives beautifully.
