1948 Ford Special Deluxe

1948 Ford Special Deluxe Convertible is one of those rare finds that has been owned by my grandfather for 42 years. It has been off the road untouched or driven for 15 years. The V-8 flathead appears to be stock with the exception of the vintage aluminum Sharp heads and duel exhaust. We have not attempted to start it, however it will be sold as a family owned garage find for someone with the same old school passion to get it up and running as he did. This beautiful eye catcher has that original stance and does have a small bit of wear and tear along with the original patina from being driven over the 40 years. The paint/body on this convertible is very nice but there are a few very minor blemishes upon close inspection. The body and undercarriage is very solid with no rust or patch work. The interior is in great condition. The carpet is perfect and the dash is unmolested and pure as well. The convertible top works as it should, however it has small tears and a hole from sitting and age. Also we found the original skirts and exhaust, an extra differential, carbs, distributers, gaskets and much more.
