1964 Karmann Ghia Convertible Quality full restoration completed in the 90’s with OEM type paint (no clear coat). No rust, excellent condition floor pan. Correctly Restored OEM large 5 bolt smoothie wheels, including spare with new early oem caps and oem \'convertible issue only\' beauty rings (very hard to find). Stock size 165/15” tires. Front suspension and Koni shocks replaced during restore. Original drum brakes, big five lug, have been serviced with shoes and brake cylinders replaced. Convertible top replaced in the ‘90s and still looks like new. Header, frame and headliner with clear vinyl window still in excellent condition. Includes matching snap on \'boot\' cover if desired to use when top is down. Original matching VW keys and locks on doors, inside dash hood lock and glove box latch. Original uncut dash with original gauges, knobs, ashtray and original Sapphire 6v AM radio (for show) with dash top speaker grille. Functional 12v JVC head unit in glove box, with enclosed box speakers behind seat and original in dash front speaker (NO speaker cut outs in door cards) Excellent condition original low back front seats with matching two tone vinyl front and rear seat upholstery and door cards. New hard to find OEM 1964 rear view mirror and sun visors. Updated 12v 1600cc engine and trans includes a Dual Port, single carb with orig. 1964 oil bath air cleaner for appearance. 009 distributor with electronic ignition, blue Bosch coil, new OEM carburetor, new battery, new stock exhaust with chrome pea shooters and new heat exchangers. Clutch and flywheel replaced 10k miles ago. Ready to drive. Additional rare VW accessories included.
