Listing Description

1959 Austin Healey Sprite driver. Often called a 'Bugeye' or 'Frogeye' Sprite. These little roadsters were produced from 1958-1961. This particular car has the stock 4 cylinder, engine displacement of 945cc with an electric ignition upgrade, a Weber down draft carbonator and an electric auxiliary cooling fan. Dual master brake cylinder upgrade, front disc brake upgrade and new drum brakes in back. Upgraded Monza sport exhaust system and a stock 4 speed transmission.  The body is incredibly solid, no rust in floors showing that it has clearly been stored indoors. The exterior has been painted a Pearl white which really suits the car. The interior features upgraded black fabric Corrado style racing seats, single point overlock racing seatbelts, roll bar, new carpet kit and included is a spare blank replacement dashboard. Solid anodized painted wheels with spare rim. All external lights functional, but the instrumentation is work in process. Other body modification were done to reduce weight. These cars make great racecars because of their light weight and handling characteristics. The car has side window and new American vinyl soft-top, but it's certainly best enjoyed open air. If you're looking for an affordable, fun, roadster to stand out in a crowd, this is the car.Trim: ConvertibleDoors: 2
