1956 Buick Special

1956 Buick Special coupe for sale. This is a very solid car, it sat in a garage for the last 2 or three years, belonged to an older gentleman who no longer drove it after he went to a retirement home. This car is a perfect candidate for a restoration, as it is very solid, with very little rust, and a healthy original 322 'nailhead' Buick V8 engine, and Dynaflow automatic transmission. Or make a rat rod! This car would make an awesome rat rod, or street rod. I cranked it up and drove it on my trailer, but it needs plugs and wires, they are ancient! The car needs a master cylinder, and a fuel pump, it has a small electric pump mounted on the fenderwell that only seems to work when it wants to. The original fuel pump is the dual diaphragm type. The interior is OK for a driver, as can be seen by the pics, it does need a headliner, the rust it has is a little on the insides of the fenders near the hood hinges, a small amount in the rockers, and a small amount at the bottoms of the front fenders, nothing major, the floors and trunk are perfect! All the lights work too! The bumpers and grille surround would need to be rechromed for a restoration, but are OK for a driver, or rat rod. This is a solid foundation to do what you want with it, and these 56 Buick coupes are very hard to find!Doors: 2
