1947 Chevrolet 3100

1947 Chevrolet 3100 rat truck with perfect patina and a very dependable driveline! The 1947 body is channeled over a box stock 1990 S10 complete and not cut frame with all the factory running gear. Engine is the factory fuel injected 4.3 V6 that runs and starts perfect. Engine has a high flow chrome air cleaner and the motor has new chrome valve covers. Cooling is done by a new race radiator. Trans is the factory S10 automatic and shifts like new. Interior is factory 1947 Chevy with the addition of the tilt wheel S10 steering column, factory power brakes and new Dolphin gauges. Body has a great patina, solid but with lumps and bumps though. Lettering and pin striping. If you want a great, dependable rat truck that will turn heads at the cruise in or event, this is your ride. Low look done by channeling body over the frame and no suspension mods were done to effect the quality of the ride. Just a dependable S10 with a cool older shell. Truck is a rat rod, not a trailer queen, has dings and dents and some rust, no major rust. Truck runs and drives great will need a carrier bearing there is some play in the one currently in it. I plan on trying to get it changed this weekend if I get time. Other than that, no issues, get in and drive where ever you want! There is no wood in the bed, but can easily be added as there was some there previously. Does have some squeaks and rattles, it is old!Doors: 2
