1951 Chevrolet 3100

AZ Barn find, Original 1951 Chevy 3100 truck, Patina, short bed , 78\' bed, 6 cyl, 3 on the tree. Still has spare tire under bed, all stock wheels and hub cabs. Straight and very little rust, sometime in its life it was painted, firewall is red. Story told to me, Grandpa bought it new, passed to granddaughter and was driven on the farm and then parked in AZ dry heat for 30 years, where i bought it. I have cleaned gas tank and put in a new fuel sender, rebuilt carb, did tune up, changed filter and oil in motor , trans, rear end, replaced water pump and hoses, new 6 volt battery, replaced generator, and regulator, new tires, replaced master cylinder , wheel cylinders and all rubber brake lines, replaced wood bed floor, headliner, door panels, glove box insert, seat recovered, all pedal rubber pads, new rubber floor mat. Runs and drives as it should. Rear bumper and radio are not stock, and has a ahooga horn. Has ad on turn signals that work. Should have radiator redone, had a leak and i added stop leak. All gauge\'s work, but speedo has no needle, show 48888. miles Very little rust, cab corners have some small holes, and right front cab mount on floor of cab, near battery, but overall, this truck is solid. Please check pictures. Heater core leaks, bypassed and blower fan , radio, and wipers do not work.
