1954 Chevrolet 3100
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1954 Chevrolet 3100. Originally a Chevrolet pick up, a more functional flat bed with tool boxes replaced the original box bed. It has removable stake wood sides. Independent Mustang II front suspension with disk brakes, 350 Chevy V8, with 350 automatic transmission and a late model Chevy rear end. I put in the 350 motor (everything professionally installed), suspension upgrades, springs, plus virtually everything that moves, new in 2000. Motor now has approximately 45k miles. Transmission has approximately 10k or less miles. Recently I had the the headers replaced, installed new plug wires, installed new ball joints, bushings, shocks, etc. Goes straight down the road. Everything works. Has a heater but not air conditioning. I have owned this truck since 1994. It is a good running daily driver/worker. Not a rust bucket or scabbed-together mess. Solid. Proven. Reliable. Until this past year, it has been garaged since I bought it over 20 years ago. The truck tha drives more like a car than a truck because of the front suspension. Everybody who rides in it is impressed. It has been used either as a daily driver or a light duty truck for my personal use; and not left sitting for long periods of time. This is not a show truck. I never put a nice paint job on it because I didn't want to worry about scratching it. I wanted to use the truck. There is some road rash on the front bumper and elsewhere that will sand right off.Doors: 2
