Listing Description

1954 Chevrolet 3100 ORIGINAL ENGINE AND TRANS, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, NEW PAINT! This is a beautiful driver quality 5-window that looks nice as is, or would be a great candidate for a next level restoration. Straight body with very minimal rust. New paint looks good from 20ft, but prep was not done well and shows sings from bumper to bumper. Small rust on bottom drivers door. Brand new carpet, seat cover, and headliner. Original dash has a great patina and is uncut and unmolested. Doors shut tight. Brand new weatherstripping on the windshield and all 3 back glass. Windows roll up and down easily. Drivers window is cracked. Newer wood bed sits on top of the frame. Looks nice, and easily removed for another option. Undercarriage: Solid and rust free frame rails. Very solid original floor pan. Drivers cab corner is rust free, passenger cab corner has small rust holes. Newer tires on original wheels with matching hubcaps. 235 engine starts easily and runs strong. 3 speed manual shifts through all of the gears smoothly. The truck tracks straight down the road and has no steering wheel play. It drives very nice for a 60 year old truck! All of the lights work. All of the original gauges work, speedometer cable is not hooked up. Even the heater works! Brakes have been serviced and stop good. This is a great looking truck to drive and enjoy today, or have a fun winter project fixing it up like you want it.
