1955 Chevrolet 3100

1955 Chevrolet 3100 First Series 1/2 Ton Truck with 75,000 original miles. These are very rare as they were only made for a short time in 1955. The rest of the year Chevy went to the square body (second series) with the open drive shaft. This truck has the open driveshaft upgrade from 1955. Truck has a clean Texas title and can easily be driven. It has the 235 - 6 cylinder, 4 speed. It had a frame off restoration in 2011, changed electrical to 12V and added 100 amp alternator. The wipers are electric. Other things added up to present - here are some of them. New Interior, gauges restored, RARE NOS clock housing with custom tachometer, door panels, window cranks, inner & outer door handles, sun visors, rear view mirror, door and windshield rubber, dome lamp, door latches & Old Air Products A/C, Heat and Defrost. New drum brakes, tires, hubcaps, powder-coated dual color original rims, new bumpers, tail lights, headlights, turn signals, \'original\' Eagle Hood Ornament, Electric fan conversion, Waldron\'s dual exhaust, Fenton headers, tie rod end upgrade, drag link replaced, to many things to list. I still have boxes with parts with spare tire rack, original spare rim & other items. The truck still needs to have some minor things done but it is all there. Cab corners have never been replaced (no rust).
