1950 Chevrolet 3600 3/4 ton Pick up 350 Hi-Po SBC with HEI ingnition resto mod. (about 10in longer than a 3100) Bought this PU totally stock, all original from the 3rd owner and drove it home and stripped it down to cab and frame. The body is all stock and original from when I bought it. I didnt want a 'Trailor Queen'.

Sand blasted chassis/underbody and painted with gloss black tractor paint. Installed Chassis Engineering cross member (now Heidts) with rac-n-pinion steering, ft disc brakes, coil springs and shocks. Stock steering column (steering column saver), new radiator w/elec fan. 1988 C1500 10 bolt rear end (373) w/3 stock leaf springs and hangers.

Aluminum drive line with Saginaw 4 spd, standard clutch and PP. SBC with 9.5:1, cam, stock 76cc heads, HEI, roller rockers and shorty stainless headers w/Thrush mufflers. Re-wired to 12v (AA harness) w/led taillights, new wiper motor, fuel gauge, sender and fuel tank using elec fuel pump. (speedo way off) All stock, original interior with brown leather seat and new head liner.

Interior patina is pretty cool. The battery and master cylinder are in the original positions. I also have a set of stock looking wheels with chrome trim rings. I wanted an original PU with modern handling and drivability.

This PU is sweet and with zero bump steer. Runs strong and handles well I have all the progress photos over the 1.5 yr build.
