Listing Description

1951 Chevy Business Coupe rust-free, straight 2-Door Coupe. The business coupe model came from the factory without a back seat, so salesmen would have more room to haul their moonshine. This car is a super nice survivor, with the original interior upholstery still intact. This car is fun to drive and doesn’t need much to be a perfect cruiser. The straight six engine starts on the first click and runs great. Recent service or repairs include- Brake master cylinder rebuild Oil change Carburetor rebuild New fuel pump New re-chromed original bumpers The lights all work, horn, heater and wipers work. And all the gauges work too! The car is still original with the 6 volt electrical system, so if you want to have us convert it to 12V, we can discuss the cost to do that. The semi-gloss paint isn’t flawless and 100% perfect, but we think it does look pretty sharp. The tires are bias-ply, and they hold air just fine. But they are getting old and should be replaced soon. The original gas tank was rusty inside, so we removed it and just dropped a temporary fuel cell in the trunk until a new gas tank is installed. Two of the flat side windows are cracked, but the windshields and rear window are good.
