1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. Bought from the man who owned it since he was 13 years old. It had been sitting for 20 years and needed to be gone thru. All original and shows 34,606 on the odometer. Still has the 265 V8 and a completely rebuilt powerglide transmission. New tune-up including plugs,wires,cap,rotor,points,battery,oil change, new tranny, hoses, belts, rebuilt carb, 4 core aluminum radiator, water pump, fuel pump, fuel lines,new gas tank, and changed the rear axle fluid and added a muffler back with tail pipe. Just put Brand New Coker white walls with American Torue Thrust 15 inch rims and all new shocks all the way around. Complete brake job new master cylinder,brake shoes,wheel cylinders,brake lines, and etc. Brand new original carpet,and floor mats, and just glued some material on the door panels to clean it up. New radio that looks original but its digital with RCA Jacks for a stereo with 2 6x9's in the rear dash. Put another front clip on it 35 years ago and it was that red primer color and had some left over 57 chevy green so sprayed it on there to cover up the red everyone seems to like it as a multi color green belair. Aged it to match the old paint and sprayed a satin clear coat over the whole entire car to seal it. This car cranks faster then a new car everytime. It is a amazing car to cruise around and gets plenty of attention. Cars like this are so much more enjoyable then a show car because you can enjoy driving them since they are not perfect and you will find yourself in this one more.
