Every so often one of those special cars comes around, and this is one of them this car was purchased from the second owner that owned it since 1973, this is a one repaint unrestored 69, Chevelle, SSL 78 matching number car, Kansas assembly plant car , this car is being offered with two engines. The one that is in it, which is a very strong running 396 that is built to to L 78 specs that runs on pump gas and runs amazing, 10k invested in motor, also have the original matching number L78 motor, which was decked back in the day when motor was balanced and blueprinted but still has partial vin in rough cast down by oil filter, this is a turbo 400 L 78 which is more rare than a four-speed, I want to say there was somewhere around 1471, made, unfortunately original trans is gone, the rear end is a KF which is a 355 possi this is probably one of the best running and driving Chevelles that I have ever owned and it is very hard for me to let it go, the interior is all original the only thing that I replaced was the front seat covers and I went with Legendary because it’s is the closest to original, the paint is stunning, in its original Lemans blue.
