1956 Chevrolet Corvette

1956 Corvette Convertible with factory 2x4 barrel carbs with correct engine code F56 FG indicating 1956 Corvette 265 with power glide transmission. This Vette also has factory power windows, factory power convertible top (not working) and a factory removable hardtop. This is a very nice, older restoration on a very solid car to start with. The former owner had owned it for more than 20 years. He sent the top assembly off to a restorer who had a jig to mount the top on and make sure everything was installed correctly. He then powder coated the top frame and installed a high quality, canvas, convertible top. The former owner had the engine completely rebuilt in 2008 and there has only been about 3,500 miles put on the car since then. I could not find any rust in any metal on the car frame and birdcage. It is a very nice car that runs just like you would expect it to. It had a few blemishes in the paint and I had the entire car repainted. It is absolutely gorgeous.
