1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible model debuted with the first ever Big Block Corvette, the \'Turbo Jet\' 396 CI rated conservatively at 425 HP. It was a great start and with the RPO L78 cost of $292.70, 2157 cars received this option, roughly 9% of the production. Today, the Big Block Convertible of that vintage are coveted by collectors and enthusiasts alike and their values are constantly going up. We are pleased to offer a very fine example restored to such perfection that was awarded the highest award NCRS \'Top Flight\' at local, regional and national level. There is not much to say... Options include Milano Maroon paint, white interior, four speed, PS, PB, Hard top. This is a no reproach Vette, a highly collectible, almost impossible to duplicate for the money today.
