Listing Description
1980 Chevrolet LUV with a 4ZE1 from a 1988 Trooper. Has an intake from a 2.3 (4ZD1) so it is carbureted with a Weber carb, 32/36. went through the motor before installing it and just did new bearings, rings, and seals. It still needs a bit of work done to it but will be an awesome toy when it is finishedit still needs some work but if you want a LUV with a 2.6 in it this saves you a lot of time and money.  now has headlight buckets and no longer has the light bar. can also include two 5 speed transmissions and transfer cases from a trooper and 12 bolt from the Trooper, very strong axle. Pros: - 2.6 with a lot more power than the factory 1.8 - Runs great, has probably 300 miles on the swap - 3' body lift - 4x4 works great - Very fresh set of 31x12.50r15 Super Swamper Irok ND's. - Newer ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends (less than a year old) - Brand new clutch installed at time of motor swap - Original 4 speed transmission - Factory radiator rebuilt and had larger cores installed for the bigger displacement engine - Electric fan that works great - 4.56 gears front and rear to help power the larger tires - Bucket seats from a Toyota - Brand new head gasket (was leaking oil between head and block) Cons: - needs the rear driveline lengthened about 1.5'-2' ( runs and drives fine how it is but once you get to higher speeds it has a vibration) - Body is pretty rough, it was built as an offroad toy so definitely got some battle scars, nothing huge though. - interior is rough as well - No bumpers currently on it  it is a sweet little truck that just needs a little bit of extra work done to it.Doors: 2
