Listing Description

1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Was redone 15-20 years ago, and starting to show age in the old bodywork. Has some rust coming through in some of the typical areas but not a rust bucket. Car is a good driver, and turns heads when I drive it. Would be a good driver/ project, and wouldn't take much to be really nice again. I drive the car a few times per month, and not afraid to drive it anywhere. This is a nice cruiser, not a tire burner. It has a stock 350, with an aluminum intake, and Edelbrock carb. When the engine is hot, the oil light comes on at an idle, but the lifters DON'T chater or get noisy no matter how long it sits idling, so I think its just the sending unit. As soon as you touch the gas, the light goes out. Been like that since I've owned the car. Transmission is a Th350 with shift kit. The headers need to be replaced, and I just bought new ones that need to be installed. The rest of the exhaust system has been replaced, and has Flowmasters. Seats, headliner, and door panels have been replaced and are in great condition, just needs carpet kit. I have the correct woodgrain dash and console pieces to go with the car. The left outside door handle button mechanism just broke on March 24, but the inside part works fine... I'll fix it if I get a chance. The brake light stays on all the time, however I think its just a ground. Been like that since I've owned it. Calling is the best way to reach me. I'm only selling it to fund other unfinished projects. If you have any questions, just ask. These 1st Gen Monte's are getting harder and harder to find in decent shape. This one is nowhere near junk, it just needs a little love.Doors: 2
