1956 Chevrolet Nomad Project - has been stored inside. Body was removed dipped, stripped, straightened and painted in 1983 in laquer. Original california seamless frame was stripped and painted at the same time. The body and suspension were reunited. This is an incredibly nice piece. I purchased it with the intention of finishing but circumstances change and now I am offering it for sale. All of the body pieces for this car are painted. There are some chips on a couple spots that will need touched up, 36 yrs of storage and two moves, something was bound to happen. These are very minor. There are a few trim pieces that are polished, the rest is is great shape and does need polished. The bumpers have been replated. The front bumper is a California one piece. Included is a new 605 steering box, Ididit shift column. The stock steering box and column is available. I have both. All of the small pieces for this car are in stackable clear plastic totes. All of the pieces that have been polished or rechromed are wrapped for protection. The engine and transmission are not numbers matching, but are date code correct. The engine is a 56 265 power pack and needs rebuilt. The transmission is a cast iron power glide and needs rebuilt. The glass is used. A couple pieces have cracks. The windshield is new. Seats( front & rear) available but need reupholstered. No interior door panels or rear side trim panels. New cargo area mat. Other original parts I have are the heater and controls, speedometer, radio. Original to the car. Most of the parts are here. Missing parts are available through after-market. This car can be restored or hot-rodded.Doors: 2
