1962 Chevrolet Nova

1962 Chevy II Nova 2dr Sport Coupe (no-post). This is a surviving example purchased from a widow in Ohio and now resides in TN. The vehicle is stock, straight, and all original. These are harder and harder to find in this condition. EXTERIOR: Lt Blue. All Chrome is good/undamaged. Glass is good with no stone chips evident. All panel alignment is good. At the left rear corner near the bumper, the rear body panel started to develop surface rust so the PREVIOUS elderly owner put some caulk over that area to protect it. Again, no big deal. The left fender has a scratch on the left front corner. The Decklid Moulding has 2 dents in it and will require repair or replacement. The current owner thinks every side molding did its job and has small dents in most. The entire car may have been refinished as far back as 70\'s or 80\'s judging by the patina of paint fade. It\'s well done and all trim was removed etc. The left quarter had a metal repair that looks like it dates back to \'70s possibly for what was probably minor rust but is a good repair that has withstood the test of time. Likewise, the passenger right front floor area had a small patch (8\'x8\'?) that was also done a long time ago based on its condition that has also stood the test of time for the quality of that repair. All trim is present. INTERIOR: All bone-stock original vinyl in exceptionally good condition for its age. The only area showing any signs of age is the carpet which is readily available and inexpensive. The current owner thinks some careful detailing will suffice to keep it choice/original. The headliner is perfect! No sagging, no strings or wrinkles, etc. The prior owner was NOT a smoker. Dash is not split. All instruments including AM radio work as they should. MECHANICAL: Inline 6 cylinder engine is bone-stock original. At some point the PRIOR owner paid someone to respray the engine block and valve cover and while decent, it can still use some attention.Body Style: CoupeDoors: 2
