Listing Description
This is a rare classic car (only 6,200 made) - a great project buy. These cars go for a lot when fixed up ($30,000 to $45,000 is realistic)- and look around to see how infrequently they are up for sale. This is a model with 3 doors. The outside only has two spots that are bent - the front bumper, and the back driver-side corner. Does not run. This car was driven until 10 years ago and has been sitting in storage since then. 77,131 Miles. Clean title and standard registration for driving until December 2023. You can see the original color in two pictures where I wiped off the car, other pictures were taken before that.\r\n\r\nThere are rust issues, most serious on the inside along the top of the whole windshield -this is flaky. Also along the white roof on the outside. There is some more flaky rust and some small holes on the floor just inside the driver\'s door. There are some small rust holes on the front hood (like the size of a drop pf water). There are other areas of rust, but they aren\'t flaky or go through the actual body. There is some rust on the edge behind the back wheel on the driver\'s side, and some paint damage in the same area on the passengers side. I\'ve taken pics of major rust areas I could see. \r\n\r\nThe engine update is listed as a 305 v8 1982 model and the transmission update is listed as Turbo Hydromatic 350. There are additional original parts from off the car in the vehicle. I can\'t answer mechanic type questions or detailed history, as I inherited this car recently and records for that don\'t exist anywhere I can find them.\r\n\r\nThe front hood and back door are stuck closed, and there is a bolted panel in the back window (that window is broken) and some bolted grills on other windows. There is an old bicycle in the back which we can\'t get out so it comes with the car. There\'s also one spare tire back there. There is what appears to be some orange styrofoam insulation in cab area (this used to be camped in). \r\n\r\nThe car is in storage at a facility in San Jose, and you will have to have it towed/shipped to you. I have door keys, gas keys, and I think ignition and trunk are the same as door (or you might have to get some of those keys made).
