FINAL 1983 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL – RARE GLACIER BLUE SURVIVOR

This is the last year of rear-wheel-drive Imperials, and this Glacier Blue example proves why these land yachts deserve cult status. A true survivor with mostly original paint, this Imperial has been comprehensively sorted over the last five years. The original buyer specified extra factory undercoating, documented in the service book.

Factory 318 cubic inch V8 with 904 lockup transmission now features an Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carburetor conversion. Recent work includes complete brake system overhaul (calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinder), new shocks, wheel bearings, serpentine belts, hoses, and a rebuilt power steering gearbox. Chrysler electronic ignition upgrade, R134a air conditioning conversion that blows ice cold, and fresh tune-up round out the mechanical refresh.

This is a genuine cruiser. It rides like a Lazy Boy on four wheels and has tackled 150-mile-plus round trips to Florida car shows with AC blasting and zero issues. Comes with factory manuals, brochures, owners' documentation, spare snow flake wheel, and extra parts. Minor oil weeping from motor and transmission. Cassette player status unknown.
