1969 DATSUN 2000 ROADSTER • Vin: SRL31107427 • Engine Number: 07855 • Odometer Reading: 44845 miles (not actual mileage) • Color: Chrysler Viper Red • Purchased October 2005 o Extensive restoration work including engine rebuilt, radiator rebuilt, new front and rear wheel bearings and seals, bumpers and tail lights re-chromed, new convertible top, cracked exhaust header repaired, odometer reworked (not working when purchased), new wide white wall bias ply tires, new fuel pump, brake system rebuilt including new master and slave cylinders, new calipers and all brake lines replaced, interior completely restored including new door panels, all wheels repainted. Recently serviced and new battery installed. This car turns heads. Can be a daily driver but not on rainy days. Wind shield wipers do not work. Somewhere in the history of this car it was repainted (not by me) and the 'Datsun 2000' emblems on the front fenders and rear panel were removed.
