Listing Description

1977 Fiat 124 spider, 76000 miles, clean title, manual trans. A beautiful, recently restored. This car recently (completed 18 mos. ago) went through a full body restoration. The paint is immaculate and no expense was spared in the paint job. It was taken all the way down to bare metal where any imperfections were fixed. The body is straight and no body filler was used to get these straight lines. Then a full epoxy sealer coat was applied to the bare shell, so rust is not going to be an issue with this car. After that Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000 paint was used. Before the color (Giallo Fly yellow) was applied, another 2 coats of Sherwin Williams white epoxy primer was applied. I still have about a quart of color that will come with the car. The engine, an 1800, was totally refreshed. It was completely disassembled and checked thoroughly prior to reassembly. A brand new oil pump was also installed at this time so you are getting a constant 50+ psi at 2000+ rpm. You can run the engine all day at 4500 rpm and the temperature gauge stays right in the middle at 190 degrees. A new water pump, timing belt, tensioner bearing and radiator was installed when the engine went in as well. The head was redone, new valve guides, guide seals, valve seats mildly ported and deck was shaved. Nothing crazy, just a freshened up head with a little work to make it flow better and bump the compression. The engine is tight and sounds great with the Allison\'s performance exhaust. The wheels are the stock \'Iron Cross\' wheels that were totally refinished. It starts very easy and I only ever put in ethanol free gas. Issues: 1. the oil pan gasket seeps a little 2. The passenger door handle doesn\'t open from the outside 3. Hard to start when hot. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or CallTrim: ConvertibleDoors: 2
