Description
1981 Ford Bronco 4x4 in nice shape for the year. It has 2,892 miles on a five digit mechanical odometer which is the mileage on the vehicle since it was modified, when a new motor and all new Equus gauges were installed. The mileage on the title is 59,650 and it is rated as ACTUAL.
It is part of my personal collection and was located in Arizona when I purchased it. As stated by the previous owner, it has been an Arizona vehicle since new. The truck comes with a 351 V8, which was installed new approximately six years ago, automatic transmission with a B & M Quick Silver shifter, power steering, power brakes and a Pioneer CD player with six Pioneer speakers!! The Bronco rolls on aluminum rims decked out with 33 x 12.50 R15 LT BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires.
There have also been Rancho RS5000 shocks installed along with Pro Comp ES2000. The truck is equipped with a Holley 4 barrel carburetor and Edelbrock chrome valve covers and air cleaner cover. The truck also has NEW dual exhaust and headers.
Inside the Bronco is dressed up with custom embroidered bucket seats. I have owned the truck since 2022 and I am believed to be the third owner. The owner before me owned it since 1987. When he purchased it, the vehicle had 42,666 miles on it.
He is the one that did all of the upgrades you see. I drive this great truck on a regular basis & it runs fine! Classic Ford Bronco Buyer's Guide
The Ford Bronco has lived through five distinct platform generations across thirty years of production, but the classic Bronco market splits cleanly into two eras: the "Early Bronco" (1966-1977) and the "Big Bronco" (1978-1996). The first generation has become the single fastest-appreciating American collector vehicle of the past decade, with documented original examples now trading for sums that rival muscle-car territory. I've spent two decades chronicling Ford's SUV history, and the build sheet tells the real story on every Bronco — what was originally optional, what was dealer-installed, and what has been added during the car's lifetime. This guide covers what separates a documented original Early Bronco from a creative "restomod" build sold as factory-original.
