1966 Ford F-250
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1966 Ford F-250 Camper Edition, which includes the stronger/larger brakes, improved axles and other heavy-duty aspects to it. The Dual I-Beam frame rails are in great shape, as is the body. Chrome is clean and sharp, no cracks in the windows or any other minor exterior issues with the glass. It's a long box, so you can haul a ton of stuff and it is set up with a newer tow hitch for hauling boats or campers. The basics: Custom Cab red and white 2-t1 Power Steering Strong Manual Brakes 460 engine with a C-6 Automatic (It's a transplant from a 1985 Ford, thus no lead substitute issues) 4bb Holley with manual choke No Air/ Great heater Solid floorpans and cab Good tires with tons of tread left on them. Dual exhaust that has just been updated and checked top to bottom Since I bought it, I replaced the drive shaft with single-piece custom that helps with drive and stability. I redid the power steering seals, so no leakage and smooth turn radius. The rear end got a new seal as well, so that's in good shape, no leakage. Also redid the valve-cover seals. Just added a new heater core and she works great. Tune up included new plugs, cap, rotor etc. Just added a new ignition coil as well. I also redid the interior, so the seat is perfect and the floor is carpeted with a soundproofing underlay insulation. New ignition and locks, so the only 2 keys are yours. Rebuilt the wipers and washer system so you're constantly clean on the windshield. Rebuilt various other electrical elements that needed them, including the turn signal switch and the directional lights up front. Redid the sending unit for the gas tank, which often went bad on these. Stereo is a quad-speaker set up while maintaining the classic look, thanks to the use of a dual c1 retro fit for the front dash speaker and the 2 new pi1ers in the doors. AM/FM/CD/Ipod input for cruising music. No body rust and the paint is clean and sharp. I drive it a lot so you get a few nicks, but nothing to write home about.Doors: 2
