1959 Ford Fairlane 500

1959 Ford Fairlaine 500/ Galaxie Sunliner. I have owned the car since Jan 2004. Driven only locally and car show cruise nights. Vehicle is a 292 CID, 2bbl carb, three speed on the column transmission (no O/D). Speedo reads about 15,800 . I believe it to be 115,800 judging from the condition overall of the car. NOT VERIFIED. The speedo read 10,475 when I received the car. Mechanically sound, runs and drives good. Good cruiser, does not overheat, has full fill coolant. It's a twenty footer older repaint (not original color) with some imperfections. All gauges work as they should, original AM radio plays, heater works, and top runs fine. Chrome and bright trim in excellent to very good condition. Dash chrome has some pitting as does some of the exterior window and windshield chrome trim. Car has factory power steering, back up lights, and power top I have replaced the rear convertible window, complete brake system service, replaced the power top rams, fuel sending unit, replaced heater core, new power steering hoses, steering power ram rebuilt, front end rebuilt.  Car appears to have had some body repairs before I owned it. I believe the floor pans have been replaced, and there looks to be repairs of the right side frame rail. When i replaced the top rams, the floor pan mounting bracket broke off and a new, non-stock bracket was fabricated and installed. Trunk is in good shape. There is some bubbles under the paint on the drivers door.  Not perfect but fun to drive and receives lots of nice comments when I'm driving it.Trim: SunlinerDoors: 2
