Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1960 Ford Fairlane, GNRS 1st place, multiple magazine featured - 2010 Grand National Roadster Show 1st place class winner. Full feature [incl. 1 cover] in 4 major magazines. 'Rod & Custom', 'Traditional Rod & Kulture', 'Kustoms Illustrated' and 'Gears And Gals'. High caliber built kustom by KKOA hall of fame builder/painter for a prominent hot rod/tattoo artist on the custom scene. Traditional custom school of build, all hand shaped metal. Drive it anywhere, needs nothing and it's a real honey to drive. Use it as a show car or daily driver, it was built to be driven regularly, not as a garage cow. Have clocked only under 300 miles Car is built from ground up. To start with, all floors, rockers and quarters were replaced with pristine steel prior to any custom modification/fabrication. Then it was nosed, decked, shaved, molded, sectioned, peaked, rounded, frenched and slammed; another words all the ubiquitous custom mods were done to it but - unlike as with most customs out there - it was performed with true, experienced skill and original concept. The entire rear roofline was vertically sectioned and moved forward 9', trunk extended by same length for perfect proportions, extended fins 2', radiused/flared wheelwells, virtually every inch of it was expertly modified and reshaped for better proportions and sleeker look. This is not a '1-800 credit card' car built with ubiquitous catalog kits/parts, like most today's rides are. It was lovingly custom built/fabricated in-shop from the ground up by top custom builder/paint folks on the scene. Call for details..Doors: 2
