1965 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible. Beautiful restored frame up, no expense spared on this rust free, paint, interior and top with real glass rear window, converted to disc brakes, all new front end components, rebuilt driveline, trans, engine and 9' rear end. Engine is a numbers matching 289 that has been built to produce approximately 300 HP. High performance high flow Pony heads, aluminum manifold, Holley carb, ceramic coated headers, pistons, high lift cam and electronic ignitions are some of the upgrades. Large new aluminum radiator and electric fans keep this engine running cool. The retro wheels, tires and complete dual exhaust also are new. The original radio is in the unmolested dash, but a Sony stereo and after market speakers have been added below the dash. This is a rare restored car with documentation.
