1929 FORD ROADSTER REPLICA. WHAT KIND OF CAR IS THIS? This car was built by Shay and authorized and approved by Ford, it was sold in Ford dealerships and used new Ford engine, transmission, brakes and steering. The body is a replica of a 1929 Ford Roadster. Early 80s Pinto parts fit the mechanical and 1929 Ford Roadster parts fit the body. HOW IT IT TITLED? This one is titled a 1984 Shay 2 door. It has a valid HOW MANY MILES ON THIS CAR? It is reading 9,095, this is probably correct, most of these cars don't have a lot of miles, they were for fun and not driven a lot. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! RADIO WORKS! CAR DOES HAVE A HEATER! HORN WORKS, THE PAINT Very nice paint, it is 1966 Mustang candy apple red body and black fenders. No dents, no scratches, the shine is very good. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP Very good condition, it is soft and has no cracks or holes. No side curtains. THE INTERIOR Good condition, no hole or wear. THE CHROME Bumpers, door handles and radiator ornament great, a few pits in the radiator shell. THE GLASS?Windshield has no cracks, it does fold out for ventilation. THE RUNNING BOARD RUBBER? New condition. THE ENGINE It only has 9,095 miles, its was a new Pinto 4 cylinder supplied by Ford. I hear no knock or rattles and is starts good. Runs good. THE TRANSMISSION? Its a Automatic transmission that shifts good. It look like the C4 used in Mustangs. THE BRAKES? Good brakes, disc in front and drums in rear. THE STEERING? Very good, it is rack and pinion and drives good.
