Listing Description

1925 Ford Model T Touring is one of those rare family owned original finds with true patina that was pulled out of a barn. The history of the car is that it was taken out of the barn and given to the local museum for display use. There it sat for a period of years inside until recently pulled out. This unique eye catcher has that original stance and does have a small bit of wear and tear along with the original patina. The paint/body on this sedan is nice and solid but the paint is original with blemishes upon close inspection. Sporting some unique aftermarket options of the day, it has a radiator guard and the front spring coils on the suspension. Underneath, it's a lot more durable than it looks and it appears that this is a very solid, clean original car. The interior appears original, although the top has ripped from age at the seams only. Mechanically she is very sound with a recent inspection of the electric , brakes, fuel systems, and all fluids to ensure comfort, reliability and performance. This Model T starts runs, drives, and brakes as you would expect. With just 177 cubic inches making a rather modest 22 horsepower, the T is no high-speed cruiser. But thanks to its rugged design and simple systems, it will run at 35 MPH practically forever. It's not picky about fuel, and is so reliable. Ignition is by a magneto mounted on the dashboard in a wooden box, and the electrical system features a belt-driven generator. The engine bay appears original and nicely maintained, with a lot of new components, all of which are readily available from a number of Model T suppliers. Personally this is a time capsule and I would not change a thing on this car!Trim: TouringDoors: 4
