1966 Ford Mustang

BARN FIND...This 1966 mustang has had one owner and sat in the same spot since 1989, when the owners mom backed it into something and then parked it for over 30 years. It sat in the carport that entire time. For years he would fire it up and drive around the block but it would never see any real time on the road. I purchased it and had my mechanic go through the mechanics of it. ( he said that this is the best mustang that he has seen in 20 years. It has a few dents and dings but it is the original paint and I didn’t want to mess with it except to push out the rear corner. We went through the brakes, installed a new gas tank, fuel pump, wiring, plugs and carburetor. We fogged the motor and fired it up. It runs like a dream, it will blow your mind. I had a detailed and buffed the paint, powder coated a set of original 66 wheels and we added period correct new white wall tires. Look through the pictures and see if it works for you but this car has factory stickers on the deck lid, factory marks under the hood, everything works (wipers, lights, gauges, and even the factory AM Radio) This time capsule and it’s surely not perfect like a fully restored car but if you wanted to restore a mustang this would be the cheapest restoration in history.
