1970 Ford Mustang
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1970 Ford Mustang Grande coupe. Car was originally a California car, brought here several years ago. I purchased it as another guy's unfinished project. I have since completed it. The car was painted 8 years ago with a really nice pearl white. The hood has the factory scoop with the directional indicators in it and they are functional. Car was originally equipped with A/C, but the condenser, compressor and brackets were removed years ago. All the rest seems to be there. Car is a 302 V8 with auto trans. It has an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, new Holley 600 CFM Ford style4 barrel carb and an upgraded factory HP spec camshaft. The rebuilt engine has less than 1000 miles on it. It runs extremely strong. Car also has a 3.55 posi-trac rear end, factory power disc brakes (all brand new) and a brand new set of custom wheels and tires. Car also has a brand new dual exhaust system (factory type). Also has a brand new fuel tank and lines. Complete brakes are also brand new (calipers, rotors, bearings, drums, shoes, springs, lines, hoses, wheel cylinders.) I also just redid the interior. It has a brand new headliner, brand new dashboard, brand new black and white houndstooth seat covers (factory style), new carpet, etc. The black vinyl Landau top and tail panel are in excellent condition and the car came equipped that way. This car is not perfect. Like I mentioned, the paint and exterior chrome is about 8 years old so there are some touched up chips and a little pitting of the chrome here and there. Nothing really noticeable, and certainly great driver quality. This car is VERY clean, as far as rust goes. There simply is jut not really any problem rust areas noted. It has the original floors and trunk with no issues noted. There were only around 5000 Grandes built in 1970, so you don't see them often because of their rarity. The color scheme on this car also makes it look very appealing. I just insured it and plan to license it this week and drive it.Trim: GrandeDoors: 2
