Garage Kept Motors is pleased to present this beautifully restored 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 2-Door SportsRoof Cobra Jet for consideration. This car is originally from Texas, remains completely rust free, and underwent an expensive professional restoration in 2009. There is over $45k invested in this car! And it shows. From the factory, the car was originally finished in Medium Bright Yellow paint from the factory with Ginger Knit Vinyl interior. However, when our client acquired the car, the paint was far form bright and the interior was plain ugly. They had the body completely stripped (see photos) and painted in 1973 Ford Mustang Light Blue (code 3B) and outfitted a brand new black interior, a more suitable color combination for a Mach 1. The car was originally outfitted with the desirable 351 Cobra Jet V8 and is still powered by a period-correct engine that has been professionally rebuilt and bored .40 over for more better performance. The car does remain highly original but also has an upgraded (and functioning) ram air hood and carb. As you can see from the photos, this car has a huge folder of receipts of and stack of photos of the restoration. No expense was spared and no corners were cut in the process. According to the Marti Report, the car was ordered with the following options: Traction-Lok Differential (Posi), Convenience Group, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Center Console, Power Disc Front Brakes, SelectAire Air Conditioning, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Mach 1 Sports Interior Option, Tinted Glass, and Forged Aluminum Wheels with Goodyear Raised White Letter Tires. We also have a full professional authentication inspection of all the numbers that we would be happy to share with an interested party. It is a desirable car with the Cobra Jet Motor and factory AC.
