Listing Description

1974 Ford Ranchero GT. I purchased this 14 months ago and was daily driving it for several months. Car runs tip-top and has never given me any problems. I purchased the car with a recent rebuild of the motor and transmission (stock 351 Cleveland and FMX), along with the brake booster. When I purchased the car, I had the carb tuned and the shocks replaced. Has the legendary Ford 9-inch rear end, which already is a step up from an El Camino. Car comes with a great wheel and tire package and has all-wheel disc brakes that keep this heavy boat at bay when need be. Needs a little bit of body work on the rear passenger fender and needs a paintjob, no serious cancer, just a little bit on the inside of the doors (pictures). I purchased her to restore and I had all the chrome trim re-chromed and it's sitting in my garage waiting to be put on, along with all new weather seals for the interior. I have all the service records on hand from the time of purchase and I just changed the oil and renewed the tags. The only issue the car has is a little bit of a power steering leak, likely from a hose. I always keep it parked in the same spot in my driveway and haven't driven it much for the last couple months, so you can see for yourself how little it leaks. I'm very confident in this car, we could take a road trip to Maine and the only thing that would be an issue would be the lack of air conditioning and the gas mileage.
