Listing Description

1971 GMC Jimmy, 350 v8, TH350 automatic tranny, 1/2 ton 4x4. Runs, Drives, Stops! Engine...said to be rebuilt, new carb, new water pump, new power steering pump, new headers, new HEI distributor, new fuel pump, new radiator, just about everything you can bolt on the engine is new. new front and rear brakes. rally wheels with fair tires. Body.... it has had the majority of the rust repaired, pretty solid, a great candidate for full on restoration or just take it off road. Excellent straight grill with just one small area of surface rust on the chrome, nice original chrome front and rear bumpers. really nice straight GMC tailgate. It has the double wall fiberglass top which needs a little repair on the drivers side door opening and the rear hatch is in bad shape, in fact really needs a new one which they reproduce now in Wichita at Bow Tie Bits. Just got new side glass for the top-both sides. The seats are the rare utility buckets and the rear bench and they have been recovered in black vinyl and black/white hounds tooth cloth.
