1954 Hudson Hornet

1954 Hudson Hornet Convertible. This particular Brougham convertible has the 7X Engine. It is NOT your traditional twin-H. This engine is producing over 210 hp using a high compression head, special camshaft, and other 'severe usage' parts designed for racing. The traditional Twin H was only 170 hp and is not reinforced. This Hudson has upgrades: Rear glass window, Am/FM original radio (was modified to work), Hidden speakers, DISC brakes (front), Power steering, Air conditioning. The miles are 4,410 Aproximately and they are since complete restoration; the odometer was reset, engine and transmission fully rebuilt, hydraulic windows and top systems rebuilt, frame off restoration, new top and interior, upgrades installed. This car is appraised for over 100K. Its 8/10 condition. Hudson was the SECOND TO LAST off of the assembly line, been told by the previous owner, It has the rare REAL 7X motor with the special head, internals, cams, pistons, etc. It was professionally restored (completely) in the 1998-1999, The paint is the original color but darker. Its now a dark NAVY BLUE, The top was also replaced with one that is slightly darker than the original and with glass (custom made). This car also has some upgraded options as mentioned: IT HAS A/C Air conditioning, it has power steering, the front brakes have been upgraded with DISCS for safety and it has a great stereo/sound system.
