1980 Jeep CJ-7

1980 Jeep CJ7. Original AMC 304. Borg-Wagner 4-speed (new). 33' Super Swampers. Power steering. NO radio. I have the original bucket seats, plus bikini top, and Best Top Supertop. Original doors, although the windows are pretty shot. leaks/uses oil--probably a lower engine issue. First consideration: You will need to replace the power steering gear box, and do some front end work after that. Jeep wanders if you drive on pavement, this repair is pretty imminent. Ok now the good stuff ! Recent engine work includes new pushrods and lifters; new cam, sprokets, and timing chain. new auto-choke Holly carb. (2 bbl) New HEI distributer. The entire drive-train is virtually brand new: fly wheel, shroud, transfer case, Tranny, rear hubs, and real axels. (I dont know the gear ratio) This is an awesomely fun jeep to drive, and turns a lot of heads. Clean title in hand.
