1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. The legend in its own time. . . really unique, completely original, time warp example, 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. These cars were the top of the heap 'image car' when it came to the American personal luxury vehicles of the 1970's. The car offered here is a completely preserved example featuring only 71,217 miles from new. This 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV features the optional 210 HP 460 V-8 engine. The car looks as it was just driven out of the show room, original paint still appears new, all exterior plastic pieces are perfect and the wheels are excellent. This Mark IV is not a low mile 'Barn Find', rather, this car has been keep in a controlled environment and in a detailed state since new. The attractive beige cloth interior is almost flawless with some minor cracks in the leather, a small crack in the steering wheel but the veneer remains as new. The engine bay and undercarriage remain clean and complete featuring original factory markings, chalk markings etc. Mechanically, the car is very sound and everything works including all power appointments including windows, seats, mirrors etc. The Cartier Clock is functioning, mechanically the car starts, runs, drives, and brakes as you would expect and delivers the posh, smooth and luxurious ride that these Mark IV's are famous for.
