1967 Mercury Cougar

1967 Mercury Cougar, one of the most desirable year Cougars, in the most desirable and rare color combo, originally Onyx Black and with Parchment interior. Interior has been redone and in great shape. New seat covers and carpet. All door panels and kick panel have been restored and look new. New stereo and speakers, new door handles inside and out. All new door and window seals, window channels and weatherstripping. New fuel pump-lines and new gas tank. The brakes are all new, master cylinder, lines, drums and everything under drums. Car has new headers, duel exhaust that runs out the rear. All new shocks front and rear. Engine runs great, tranny and rear shift smooth. The bad- The car has been repainted sometime before current owner bought it, to a blue, and you have heard it's a '10 footer' paint job? This is a 20 footer. Bad prep work and single stage paint. However, with this being an original black car, returning this car to black would be the goal. Headlights work up, down the RH side needs help, LH closes properly. Sequential blinkers need new relay's in rear. Little to very little rust. Title is clean.
