Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1970 Mercury Cyclone Barn Find! Bought it from a guy who said he was the second owner. All original untouched except for both rear half of the quarters have been resprayed. Â have original window sticker which lists all of the options. Â have a log book which states fuel purchases, dates and miscellaneous services including a clutch at some point in its life. It appears to have 108,000 miles according to this log book and the car. 429 Cobra Jet 4-speed with a nodular 9-inch rear, 3.25 gear. It does not appear the motor has ever been out of the car. It still has original hard-to-find exhaust manifolds, dual-point distributor, rev limiter, ram air, air cleaner, quadrijet carburetor and high-volume fuel pump as well as auto light tag on carburetor as well as tags on rear and coil. Car appears to be very rust free; however, the heater core leaked and rusted out the passenger front floor, of which has been replaced. Â have gone through the mechanicals. Runs, drives, stops excellent. Lots of power. Excellent oil pressure, etc. New gas tank, Flowmaster exhaust, carb rebuild, tune-up. Has dents and dings. Not a show queen but looks good. 1 of 1200 Cobra Jet Cyclone Spoilers, not sure how many were 4-speeds. VIN#0H17C588691.Doors: 2
