1955 Mercury Montclair

1955 Mercury Montclair 2dr Hardtop.Has it`s original 292(4v)V8,automatic trans,power steering,radio,heater,etc....Just 33,000 original miles. No road salt or snow. One owner since new.Was stored in a barn (yes a REAL barn) in Northwest Georgia since 1971 when the original owner quit driving due to her age.Was never driven since.Still has the last license plate purchased for it(1971).I have the original 1955 insurance card,and dealer warranty papers. Needs total restoration.I have not tried to start it.Still has the original 6v battery!Everything is there.I do not think anything is missing.Has minor rust:1 tiny hole behind a trim piece,and a few pin holes in the floor.Thats it. All the stainless is excellent.Of course most of the chrome needs redone,but unlike northern,or Florida cars this is NOT a rust bucket.Does NOT need any body panel replacement! Rare car.First year for the Montclair,and SO much rarer than a `55 Chevy. This may be the last time you will ever see a 2dr Merc Montclair unrestored and completely original!Doors: 2
