1954 Mercury Monterey

1954 Mercury Monterey 2 door coupe. This is a very nice, solid, running and driving car. 99% original! Original 256 V-8 with 3 speed manual (three on the tree!). This is the first year of the overhead valve V-8. The car runs well and carries good oil pressure. Transmission shifts smooth and the clutch works well. This would be a perfect candidate for a full restore or a street rod. The floor pans are new, new carpet kit with the sound deadening material underneath, Seat have been re-upholstered, door panels and headliner need to be finished. Have all the original interior and exterior trim and badging. Body is in good condition, but it needs paint. That being said, it looks pretty good now.
