1961 Metropolitan Convertible: The car was restored by previous owner in the 5 year period from 1980 through 1985. The current owner purchased the car in December, 1987 when the speedometer read 55,429 miles. Approximately 3000 miles have been driven during the 34 years of current ownership. During the summer of 2021 and the fall of 2022 (less than 500 miles ago), the car received a mechanical overhaul at the Pit Stop that involved the following areas of work: Inspection Brakes Clutch Differential Real Axels Cooling system Engine Ignition system Front suspension / Steering Fuel System Shifter Tires Miscellaneous The car looks great and drives beautifully.
