Listing Description

1962 Oldsmobile F85 Convertible one of the 'original Compact BOP cars'from GM this is a rare car, personally I have not seen another in person or in this condition. I am the 3rd owner super low miles (23,656 miles) yes it is correct.. overview: Originally I purchased it to turn it into a Pro-touring type car... The Good: **Engine Starts, Runs, idles great. LOW Miles, the original 215 CI All aluminum V8. there is a huge following for these light weight motors, really easy to work on and as it goes for performance parts / 215 V8 (D&D Fabrications) they are the experts. see for info ; aluminumv8.com/ **I also have a full Intake plenum/ injector, coils off of a 1995 land Rover Defender to convert the motor to Fuel injection.....same motor, there is a ton of history behind this motor. **Exhaust: it has a one-of -a-kind FULL Borla exhaust....it wasn't pieced together it was Fabricated by Borla for this car. All i had to do is Bolt it all together (lets just say I know someone). the fit and finish is great (All 304SS) it makes the car sound AWESOME and without any Annoying drone at idle or cruise. **Body: nothing to hide, it Is Solid, I have stripped the car down already when i completed (Stage1) of when i was building it and applied a Primer coat/ satin black, (this will have to be rescuffed and have a more formal primer and Paint applied, the hard work of removing the factory paint and primer was a bear to get rid of. **Trim: I have all the side trim and all the original hardware if you wish to put back on. **I also have a NOS Hood strake that only came on the 'cutlass' models of the F85 it is perfect...and REALLY Rare to find this perfect, it was never on the car but will set the car off, , once installed.Trim: F85 ConvertibleDoors: 2
