1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass

1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S 442. The 442 is a GM A-body, same as the Chevelle and GTO. The car has been stored inside for the past 39 years, while it’s not finished it has new paint and a Oldsmobile 455 V8 installed from a 1972 Oldsmobile (while retaining the 442 factory air conditioning). The car has been sitting awhile, the engine is not in running, but I recently pulled the spark plugs and squirted motor oil into the cylinders and turned the motor over by hand- it felt very smooth and should work great. The pictures show all the parts included- most if not all of the interior trim pieces. Including door handles, window cranks, vent window cranks (last year they had vent windows for the hardtops and convertibles), door panels and backing plastic. The original driver window broke, but there is a replacement window and tray. The convertible top hardware moved up and down by hand smoothly, but will need new vinyl. Front brakes are the factory drums, but we also have front disc brake set up from another 442 in the trunk. Only 5500 442 convertibles made that year with the automatic, other options include power brakes, radio and air conditioning. Mileage is shown at 19780, but there is some brake pedal wear that makes us think it could have more miles.
