1962 Oldsmobile Starfire

1962 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible. This is a beautiful, two owner that was completely restored in 1990. It has 53,205 documented original miles. Originally Sahara Mist in color, the current owner chose to change the color to Wedgewood Mist. The interior was also changed the appropriate Wedgewood Mist two tone combination but it was done in all leather. Even the convertible top boot is all leather, not vinyl. The 394 cu. in., 345 h.p. Ultra High Compression engine was also completely rebuilt to accept today's unleaded fuel. The transmission was also completely rebuilt as well. All new chrome and side trim look beautiful. The exhaust system has been replaced with new stainless steel. All gauges work except for the clock. The car has only be driven sparingly (500 miles) since its restoration back in 1990. It runs and drives beautifully and flawlessly. The power convertible top works as it should. Mechanically, this car needs nothing. The only issue with the paint is are two small chips on the driver side rear quarter area (see photos). These Starfire's are becoming harder to find in this condition and low miles.
