1970 Opel GT

This is a 1970 Opel GT 1900 Clean title in my name. The best part about this car is that the engine runs beautifully. It\'s got a 4 speed transmission, full synchos. It has new plugs, a newer battery, new plug wires, fresh oil, new tires, working pop-up headlights, electronic ignition, and a rare Bosch J-tronic fuel injection system, which gives great mileage and a few more horses over the tricky carbs that these normally have. It starts up super easily and runs great. The photos are from a 1000 mile road trip I took it on last summer, so that attests to the reliability. This car runs and drives super well, and I take it to work when it\'s nice out. It\'s a beautiful, fun to drive car that is quick on it\'s feet. I wouldn\'t say fast, but nimble and definitely a head turner. It\'s got headlights the roll over from under the body. It\'s quite the party trick. It\'s rough around the edges, and has some spots with paint chipping (big one on the hood, some on the rear quarter panel, and on the roof), and the interior is very fine as is, but you\'re not going to win any car shows as is. I\'ve included photos of the very worst of it. The undercarriage is solid with no rust at all. It would take very little to make this car really shine, so it\'d make a great easy parent/child project where there\'s minimal engine/electric work, but just a bit of paint work.
