1969 Plymouth Barracuda
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1969 Plymouth Barracuda, it still has at least 90% of its original paint. The car was first sold by Hacienda Chrysler Plymouth Inc. in California. In 1986 the car was exported to Canada and in 2019, I imported the car back to the USA. Over the last year, I brought it really close to its original condition. The engine is year and date correct, was professionally rebuilt by \'Kammer and Kammer\' Racing in Dayton/Ohio, has around 1000 miles on it, and runs perfectly. I also rebuild/renewed the year correct 904 transmission, suspension, and drivetrain. All metal panels on the car are original, the quarter panels are \'rust-free\', so is the floor pan, and are the front fenders. The only part I know of that has been partially repainted, is the passenger door, but that was some 50 years ago. The original power steering with a Frim Feel stage II upgrade in combination with the 2:76 rear axle gear ratio, is a perfect setup for road trips on country roads and highways. That is exactly what the car is intended for - to drive. I wanted to build a “reliable†classic car, as close as possible to original and that is what I am offering here. There are no fluid leaks, no vibrations, or other issues, typically found on classic cars. The car has a clear Ohio title, is registered under my name, and insured through Hagerty Classic Car Insurance.
